5 years
on the bench
Judge Wayne Culver
We elected Wayne Culver in 2020. He has served the residents of Seminole County as our County Judge for the past 5 years, hearing hundreds of cases each week. Since we elected Wayne Culver, he has done his best, but like us he has made mistakes, no one is perfect. He lost his temper in the courtroom. But he admitted his mistake and has moved on, becoming a better Judge. Judge Wayne Culver upholds the law every day with common sense and integrity grateful for his second chance that we all deserve.

Judge Wayne Culver
Seminole County Judge
Not your average judge
You might think that judges grow up with a silver spoon but not Wayne Culver. Both Wayne and his brother were orphans adopted by a loving family, in Jacksonville. His father was in the Navy, and his mother was a stay-at-home Navy wife. When his dad retired, his family moved back to Jacksonville so his father could finish college before becoming a teacher. After graduation, his family soon moved to Seminole County. Wayne graduated from Lake Howell High School and has seen our community change from citrus groves and cattle to businesses and restaurants.
Wayne went on to UCF for college. He worked his way through college in the tire department at Costco and restored classic mustangs with his brother and father. Then he went on to Law School at Suffolk Law School in Boston. He briefly began practicing law in Boston but quickly returned to Florida due to his mother's health. He studied for the Florida Bar Exam from her hospital room.
After passing the Bar Exam Wayne went right to work at the State Attorney's Office, where he handled hundreds of cases, keeping our community safe. After working for the state, he went into private practice where he handled bankruptcy, family law and real estate transactions and representing indigent clients that could not afford an attorney. Wayne enjoyed defending the rights of others and wanted more time for his new family, so he went back into public service at the Public Defender's office.

In 2020 the people of Seminole County elected Wayne Culver our County Judge. Since then, he has served in the criminal and civil division upholding the law, with common sense and integrity. His service has not been without challenges, but every day he strives to be better, knowing that we all need second chances in life sometimes. He knows that we are the sum of all of our actions not just one bad event.
Wayne loves being our County Judge. He enjoys serving the people of Seminole County, but his greatest gifts are his two children. Wayne has coached his son Evan’s soccer team at Seminole Youth Soccer for eight years. Now whenever he is out, he is proud to be called "coach" by kids and parents. His daughter, Olivia plays the piano during the week and rides horses on the weekends. She is the artist of the family creating all sorts of drawings and paintings for the house.
Judge Wayne Culver serves the people of Seminole County every day.
Now Judge Wayne Culver needs your vote, on August 18, to continue his service to our community.
